ADS Saccharimeter:
Standard Packages

In its simplest form, the ADS Saccharimeter can be supplied as a stand alone instrument for use with a centre filling glass polarimeter tube. Sample is loaded to the tube manually and a reading is taken within 30-seconds. Temperature compensation may be applied by placing the specially designed temperature sensor in the centre tube. Further sample analysis requires the operator to clean the tube using water and drying with alcohol or an alternative tube may be used. Care is required to ensure that the end windows of the tube are cleaned thoroughly. 

The standard package includes one 200mm tube; however a range of other length tubes is available as optional extras. Cleaning of the polarimeter tube is a little time consuming, so this type of package is limited to use where only a few sample measurements are required per day such as in a control laboratory of a factory process.
